Description
Tasting Notes:
On the nose the presence of a herbaceous part is clear, with fresh, herbaceous and slightly citrus notes that give a refreshing sensation and prepare for drinking together with the greener and slightly bitter notes of raspberry leaves. The subtle, almost acidic aroma, reminiscent of the red fruits of Karkadé, anticipates the clearer scents found on the palate.
In the mouth the juniper is present but not predominant, it is instead the fruity hints of the iris root that create a net and persistent background of raspberry and violet, which well balances the warm, spicy and slightly citrusy hints of the ginger root and coriander .
The finish is moderately persistent: angelica root gives a good depth to the gin, with the drink that closes on the spicy notes of ginger and with the softness of those of iris.
It lends itself well to an excellent Gin and tonic with a neutral tonic.
