RHUM PLANTATION GUYANA 2008 VINTAGE EDITION CL.70 WITH CASE

RUM / RON A limited edition with the brilliant mind and skill of Master Distiller and Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel. This rum was distilled in 2008 in Guyana, at the Demerara Distillers, in a unique and very particular still: a double wooden Pot Still that in the past belonged to the Port Mourant distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in the Caribbean, which closed its doors in the second half of the last century. Subsequently it is aged first for 17 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the humid tropical climate of Guyana, then a year and a half in France, at the Château de Bombonnet, enjoying the continental climate, and then further refined in small 400-liter barrels that had previously contained Pineau de Charentes red. This process has given the spirit of Demerara sugar cane hints of red fruits and a slight softness that have made it a drink of the highest level. Collectible, as well as to be enjoyed with the best of company.
