Malibu is produced with traditional methods and advanced technologies. The sugar cane juice is heated to create unrefined cane sugar from which the syrupy molasses is extracted. A mixture of water and yeast is then added to facilitate fermentation.
Three successive phases of distillation follow, carried out in high quality tanks specially designed in the famous rum distillery of the West Indies. Transferred in oak barrels, the smooth and light white rum obtained is mixed with coconut.
