Slightly more full-bodied in flavor and taste than five-year-old rum. Initially soft and closed. The smoky oak flavors are well balanced with notes of citrus, dried fruit, vanilla and burnt sugar. Initially the aroma of coconut, cinnamon and tropical flowers is followed by a touch of thick coffee and cooked apple. The smoked cedar in the body lasts until the finish and opens wonderfully revealing hints of spices: cardamom, menthol, rosemary, caramel and ripe blackberries.
