Description

The beneficial, digestive and antiseptic properties of botanicals such as mugwort, cloves, mint, nutmeg, pepper, myrrh and camphor have been known since the ancient Egyptians. It was the great Greek physician Hippocrates (460 BC) who began to macerate botanical spices in wine in order to extract their properties and essential oils.

The greatest contribution was made by the ancient Romans.

It was under the empire of Nero in 50 AD. that the botanist Dioscorides in ancient and flourishing Rome wrote "De Materia Medica" in which he reported in detail the substances and beneficial effects for human health.

The era of fortified and flavored wines had just begun.

The spices we use for our Vermouth are 95% Italian, and there are no synthetic elements, but only real herbal products extracted from nature. In addition to the renowned Artemisia, the basic ingredient, you can find dozens of other spices and herbs all specially selected by the bartender, after continuous experiments and blends. Thanks to the indications transmitted by his grandparents, he has developed unrivaled recipes with delicate spicy fragrances which, combined with the prestigious Zaccagnini wine, create the result of superior category Vermouth that you will never be able to forget.

Its taste and aroma will conquer your palate and will make you go back in time rediscovering a Marche tradition that has been handed down to the present day. It gives the maximum expression in mixing, fully enhancing the classic taste of the American cocktail.
