This primeval forest is still today home to an undisputed ruler: the impressive European bison (Zubr in Polish). His favorite food is the "hierochloe odorata" (literally the "sacred scented herb"), commonly called the bison grass. Enigmatic and rare, it grows freeing an irresistible fragrance, an essence rich in hints of almond and vanilla. It is from this herb that is extracted, with over three days of manual work, the essence that acquires greater intensity and a richer bouquet after a rest of several months in Polish oak barrels.
