The Jameson Irish Whiskey is prepared by creating a mixture of rich whiskey pot still produced with malted and non-malted barley and the best cereal whiskeys, both distilled three times to obtain our typical softness. Forget all the symbolic meanings associated with the number seven: the unmistakable softness of our products is linked to the triple distillation process. This is the method on which our founder John Jameson built his fame and the legacy that our Chief Distiller Brian Nation has treasured to this day. Although Jameson products are Irish to the bone, our Chief Cooper Ger Buckley turns to friends in the United States and Spain to find the barrels in which our whiskey ages. There is a rather strict law that requires spirits to age for at least three years on the Irish island to enjoy the great honor of being given the name "Irish".
