During one of his many adventures, PJ Rigney visited the sunny west coast of the United States. He visited the San Francisco bay area, where he was struck by the delicious California orange citrus found there. He quickly realized that these would marry perfectly with the exotic citrus existing in the classic Drumshanbo gin, giving a bright and colorful explosion of fresh California citrus and creating an entirely new gin. During his travels, The Curios Mind arrived in the Sardinian city of Siniscola. Where the inhabitants introduced him to the "Sa pompia" or Citrus monstruosa.
