Chugoku Jozo

Togouchi Sake Cask Finish is a blend produced by Sakurao Brewery & Distillery, formerly Chugoku Jozo, famous for its traditional sake. The imported Bourbon barrels are taken to the old railway tunnel to be aged there. Subsequently Chef Blender selects and blends the precious whiskey to refine it for 3 months in sake barrels before bottling it. Expressing a delicate nose with notes of vanilla, green apple and malt, Togouchi Sake Cask Finish offers its complexity on the palate with the appearance of lactic, woody and fruity (white fruit) aromas. In a long finish, it will leave some hints of white fruit, spice and malt. Gradation 40%

Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is a blended whiskey specially created with only 36 casks blended together. For this edition, the casks selected for final maturation by the Chief Blender of the Sakurao distillery are oak casks that were first used for the maturation of Martinique rum in the French Caribbean and then for the maturation of IPA beers in France. On the nose hints of coconut, banana, pineapple and cereal notes. On the palate a beautiful complexity of aromas, sweet finish, leaving behind honey flavor Gradation 40%

It is a whiskey aged 3 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, uncolored or chill-filtered. With a fresh scent of vanilla, apple, marmalade. Round and sweet on the palate of dried fruit and sugar with a finish of sweet spices and ginger. Gradation 43%

Blend consisting of 60% grain whiskey and 40% malt whiskey and aged 12 years in a railway tunnel in Japan. Fruity on the nose, with strong hints of sweet smoke. On the palate it is sugary and peppery, with consistent peated notes and a finish of dark chocolate, elegant and full-bodied. Gradation 40%

Blended in Japan with single malts from Scotland and wheat whiskeys from Canada. Aged in a tunnel originally built for a railway but never used, in the city of Togouchi. The aroma is sweet, with intense notes of vanilla and corn and lighter notes of spices and caramel. The flavor is at first glance of corn, caramel and white pepper, to leave a bitter aftertaste of caramelized sugar. Gradation 40%
