A typically medium-bodied, yet still floral and delicately fruity Speysider, enhanced by a short finish of 14 months in first-fill casks from a traditional Spanish winery, which had been used to mature Oloroso sherry for 60 years. It is a lively whiskey, full of citrus and fruity notes on the nose: the sherry does not immediately translate into a vinous character, but amplifies oranges, apples and pears to the maximum. The citrus and slightly tart touch is accompanied on the palate by a generous helping of sultanas and chestnut honey, achieving a great balance between dryness and a sweeter and creamier side. Gradation 46%
