The unique taste of Zuidam gin comes from a special blend of botanicals distilled with the discontinuous distillation method. The plants, spices and aromas used are all natural: juniper berries and iris root come from Italy, coriander from Morocco, angelica root, fresh sweet oranges and lemons from Spain, vanilla bean from Madagascar, licorice root from India and cardamom seeds from Sri Lanka. The grinding of the cereals used takes place in the windmills, allowing a much gentler crushing than that which occurs in mechanical mills. Each botanical is distilled separately, reaching a total of 14 distillations. Gradation 44.5%
