RUM / RON Matusalem Insolito Wine Cask is the result of a very original process. Pinang Raci literally translates as a concoction of spices. Grandpa Jacobus 'Bobby' Alfons, the inspirer and namesake of Bobby's Gin, was well known for expertly infusing Dutch jenever with spices that reminded him of home: Naku on Ambon Island. Consequently, he created and revived the jenever of him. Aromatic and floral scents and notes of freshly cut ginger, spicy citrus and lemongrass, refreshing bay (daun salam) and vibrant juniper, followed by warm spicy notes of turmeric, cinnamon and cloves, ending with the sweetness of orange. Bobby's Pinang Raci Spice Blend No.1 is a very lively dry gin that tastefully balances the different aromatic characteristics of the spices of the southeast and Indonesia. Sailor Jerry is the rum inspired by the famous tattoo artist Norman Collins. It has long since become the cult product of all international underground subcultures.
