Description

Rum Zacapa XO is aged in oak barrels that have previously hosted robust Bourbon, delicate Sherry and fine wines from Pedro Ximenez. The last phase of aging takes place in barrels of French Cognac, which give the product personality and aromatic subtlety. Zacapa XO is obtained by a combination of the finest aged rums up to 25 years, for a perfect harmony between complexity and taste. A rum of great structure, deep, a masterpiece of balance and harmony. Intense and soft, with a wide range of wood notes, ripe fruit, spices, bitter cocoa, and hints, god the almonds, and vanilla. The final noble full of emotions to be discovered slowly.

The Cristalline sugar cane used for Providence rums comes from Michel Sajous, in Saint-Michel-de-l'Attalaye, 150 kilometers to the north.
