A malt with a powerful impact, it opens with a strong umami then cut by acidity and sweetness. Finished in a combination of ex-Kanosuke Japanese Whiskey and ex-Pinot Noir bottles Mortlach is famous for its sweet yet strong flavour, an extremely rare characteristic among Speyside malts. Starting from this contrasting umami note, our Malt Master drew inspiration from the typical flavors of Japan, finishing part of this incredible release in ex-Kanosuke Japanese Whiskey barrels. To balance its sweetness, ex-pinot noir barrels were used to refine the remaining part of the whisky, in a combination of extreme precision. A strong golden smell, which initially introduces sweetness, releasing aromas of melon and pear. On the palate, pungent and savory spices alternate with a sparkling sweetness. The result is a sweet and spicy intensity, as can be the hallmark of a powerful katana. Gradation 58%

A wonderful bouquet of newly bloomed flowers, rich and intense like a delicate symphony. Matured in American & European oak barrels refill Light brushstrokes that draw the flowers in their entirety, from the heather to the fruits that fall on these rich lands as they ripen, during the reign of a great dynasty, creating an intense bouquet. Our Malt Master was inspired by the fine porcelain of China's most important royal families, to create the bottle that holds the longest-lasting expression of the Glenkinchie distillery. Time is the key to the creation of these precious vessels, as it is also for the twenty-seven years of aging, where this single malt reaches regal and lush notes of fresh flowers. On the nose we have fruity perceptions that lead us with the mind to an apple orchard, where we soon approach notes of almond and vanilla, and return at the end to a floral aroma that makes its way through impressions of field grass. A pleasant and velvety texture, its opulence is delicate on the palate and develops with a dry finish, bringing back memories of oak and spicy notes. Gradation 58.3%

This unusual combination brings a surprising harmony to our tumultuous Talisker. Clear maritime notes bring hints of oyster shell, salt and sand on a spicy and peaty base. Through them then comes the full, sweet part of white grapes, ripe fruit and tannin. In the mouth these characteristics emerge as if they were one, a creamy, sweet and fruity flavour, with waves of smoke and spices that accompany us towards the long finish of the whisky. A typically medium-bodied, yet still floral and delicately fruity Speysider, enhanced by a short finish of 14 months in first-fill casks from a traditional Spanish winery, which had been used to mature Oloroso sherry for 60 years. It is a lively whiskey, full of citrus and fruity notes on the nose: the sherry does not immediately translate into a vinous character, but amplifies oranges, apples and pears to the maximum. The citrus and slightly tart touch is accompanied on the palate by a generous helping of sultanas and chestnut honey, achieving a great balance between dryness and a sweeter and creamier side. The two -year effect in the first filling Pedro Ximenez barrels on this delicate Speyside malt does not necessarily make it a vinous whiskey, but has certainly contributed to improving the consistency, body and its creamy character. The nose is clean and fruity, dominated mainly by ripe cherries: both of the sweeter black type and the more harsh red ones. There is no shortage of candied oranges and a pleasantly stuffed note of fresh pastry. On the palate it is soft but of a fairly robust body, slightly buttery, passito and honeyed. Gradation 46%
