Notes of sweet vanilla sail through this new expression, growing deeply, lustfully into notes of candied fruit. Enveloping, with some peaks, the aroma is soft. Rich at the beginning, with vanilla, complex and structured notes, growing, then leaving room for candied fruit and white chocolate. Silky and creamy in body, the taste is rich and intense, sweetness and spices alternate, bringing a balance of organoleptic complexity that excites the mind and body.

Description

The first ever release from the distillery comes to us as a medium-bodied malt, aged in carefully selected barrels that bring a variety of aromas that integrate well into the organoleptic context, adding unique characteristics that can already give a strong identity to its parts.

A sweet baptism for this new malt, which in its first release reflects the area surrounding the distillery, rich in green meadows and fertile soil, classic of the Highlands

Appearance: Shiny Gold

Nose: Enveloping at first, the first impressions give us a strong impact of vanilla, dried and candied fruit, a touch of molasses and cream, with a base of fruity notes to be explored

Body: Medium

Palate: Silky and creamy in structure, it begins with a strong hint of vanilla and then lets out a more spicy part that perfectly balances the complexity. Then there is room for the fruity part, which enriches the sweet component, without however covering the drier and more pungent spice part. A complete and complex drink, with the sweetness that is released more by adding a drop of fresh water

Finish: Long and rich, slightly sweet and spicy, a touch of pink pepper.

A typically medium-bodied, yet still floral and delicately fruity Speysider, enhanced by a short finish of 14 months in first-fill casks from a traditional Spanish winery, which had been used to mature Oloroso sherry for 60 years. It is a lively whiskey, full of citrus and fruity notes on the nose: the sherry does not immediately translate into a vinous character, but amplifies oranges, apples and pears to the maximum. The citrus and slightly tart touch is accompanied on the palate by a generous helping of sultanas and chestnut honey, achieving a great balance between dryness and a sweeter and creamier side.
