Ukiyo Blossom Gin is made from a barley crop that is first distilled into a traditional Japanese shōchū distillate. This shōchū spirit is redistilled in a traditional still with juniper, mandarin and spices before infusing the delicate taste of sakura blossom and yuzu and the fragrant and citrusy taste. The result is a masterfully distilled traditional Japanese Gin.

The term ukiyo refers to a state of mind that emphasizes living in the moment, detached from the difficulties of life.
Perfected through the generations, we celebrate the purity of traditional Japanese distillation. Born in Kagoshima in the shadow of the Sakurajima volcano, our Gin is composed of a base of the traditional Japanese shōchū spirit. When redistilled, high-quality shōchū produces a more delicate gin that has a wonderfully soft mouthfeel.
