Greek brandy obtained from a unique blend of Sultanina grapes, Corinto and Saviatano grapes which ripens for at least seven years, with a dark golden color that gives aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and oak. Good persistence. In the mouth it has a soft taste.

To obtain this Brandy, three varieties of different grapes are used (Sultanina, Savatiano and Corinthe grapes). Once the distillate has been obtained, its aromas are left to develop in oak barrels of Limousin for a minimum of three years. Muscat grapes (of Samo or Lemno), rose flower essences and a secret series of aromatic plants are added to the brandy. Then you put this new mixture back in a barrel for another year. Before bottling, Metaxa spends many days at a temperature below zero, is filtered and finally bottled. Aging for 5 years in oak barrels. Distillates with discontinuous alembic.
