GIN HENDRICK’S ORBIUM QUININATED CL.70 LIMITED RELEASE

The distillers that brought Hendrick's beloved cucumber and pink gin have struck another great innovation: the chinatoine. Infusing their spirit with quinine and absinthe, Hendrick's has created a complex and intriguing drink that pays tribute to what is often mixed with gin: tonic and vermouth. The flavors of quinine and absinthe are complemented by blue lotus flowers, which add bright floral notes to the mix

The addition of Lotus Blossom exquisitely balances the overall flavor; but the trinity of essences together creates a complex gin with a surprising brightness and an unusually long and perfect finish for the martini-obsessed.
Orbio derives from the word 'orb', the plural of Orbis and the Latin for circle. It is inspired by Lesley's description of the journey of the liquid. It represents the spherical round taste to which Lesley refers when describing the style of Hendrick's house. It is beautifully presented in the same iconic pharmacy bottle that is now synonymous with Hendrick although in a sumptuous dark blue, inspired by the key essence of Blue Lotus Blossom. It also presents an "all-seeing eye" on the label as a continuous circle and a reference to the rounded character of the liquid.
