Description

Gin is distilled at Kampen Distillery in the Netherlands, and is inspired by the environment surrounding the distillery, but the botanicals used have not been revealed. It is known to contain black tomatoes from the south
of Sicily and a little salt water and that tomatoes are the distinctive feature of this gin. To produce Black Tomato Gin fresh tomatoes are harvested and, when crushed, they are joined to the neutral spirit, which is then filtered and distilled. A second distillate is made with juniper and a third with the other botanicals and then the three distillates are combined. To all are added some purified sea water and the spirit of wheat. The gin is then diluted until it reaches an alcohol content of 42.3%. The black bottle is very special and does not fail to be noticed, as well as the unique taste of gin!
