Description

The Big Peat is a whiskey-small batch, that is created in small batches (about 5,000 bottles) non-filtered, cold and without dyes. A whisky that exciting, true, and of great body, which was awarded 96 points and as the best blended whisky of 2011 by the Whisky Bible by Jim Murray.
The nose is fresh and clean with aromas of barley malt and peat, with spicy notes of chocolate, coffee and almonds. The palate is simple and easy to drink but delicious, with notes of heavy smoke, cut grass, spices, beaches and peat. The finish is long and persistent, with phenol and a little rough, with notes of marine, salt, smoke, and ash of the bonfire.
