It is a summer limited edition of the famous Amuerte gin, obtained from the use of a special botany: curuba fruit (a cross between banana and passion fruit). From the fermentation of this particular fruit, a pure distillate is extracted that perfectly matches the classic botanical characteristics of Amuerte gins. The result is a sweet, summery and tropical gin, with notes of banana and passion fruit accompanied by vegetal and balsamic tones, all contained inside hand-drawn bottles and finished with a real 24 carat gold foil. Dr Squid Gin was created with squid ink, an ingredient so powerful that only a minimal amount is needed for both distillation and color. Vanilla was added to the base of the recipe to give a well rounded feel and perceived sweetness, combined with sea buckthorn for a tart, fresh fruit finish. Beluga Gold Vodka is a premium Russian vodka, which is very carefully distilled and filtered in small quantities in a 6-month production process that requires a lot of manual labor. He was inspired by the travels of master distiller Lesley Gracie to the Venezuelan Amazon rainforest in 2013 when he spent three weeks with a local tribe learning about the rare plants and fruits that can be found in this part of the world, based on the original recipe of the Hendrick's gin, with its botanical signature of cucumbers and roses, but with the addition of Amazonian flora.
