AMARO CAMATTI LT.1

Amaro Camatti is a historic Genoese specialty, created in 1924 in Recco by Livorno-born chemist Umberto Briganti, who named his concoction after his wife's surname. Its original recipe, now guarded by the Bergamino family, remains, as per tradition, partly secret: after carefully selecting the raw materials, it undergoes an infusion and maceration process designed to suit the characteristics of each individual herb, flower, aromatic root, and tonic used. The resulting infusion decants in stainless steel vats and is then filtered to remove any impurities. Among the ingredients are almond, cinchona, mint, gentian, and bitter orange.
