Description

Woodford Reserve is crafted with a grain recipe of 72% Corn, 18% Rye and 10% Malted Barley. This recipe balances the sweetness of corn with the spice of rye and the smoothness of malt to create the foundation for the world’s most flavorful bourbon. The water we use to create Woodford Reserve comes directly from the distillery. It is naturally filtered through limestone deposits beneath the property. Free of iron and rich in minerals, it is a key ingredient in the process.
We mature Woodford Reserve in new, charred white oak barrels of our own making. The barrel is a key ingredient in our process, contributing flavor, complexity and balance. That’s why we craft, toast and char our own bourbon barrels in our own barrel house. After filling, the barrels are aged in our exclusive thermally cycled warehouses until they are fully matured.
