GIN TOBERMORY CL.70 WITH CASE
Inspired by the expressive nature of the Isle of Mull, a sprinkling of spirit taken from Tobermory whiskey stills is added to create a gin with a unique character. Distilled on the island with a rich bouquet of hand-selected botanicals including juniper, tea, heather, elderflower, sweet orange peel, and with the experience that comes from 220 years of history. Gin Tobermory was born as a blank canvas. The base spirit that is used has been distilled over and over until it is clean and fresh, ready to take on a colorful range of flavor. With a scent of fresh juniper balanced with citrus and coriander notes, enriched with a touch of malt. On the palate fresh juniper balanced with sweet orange and lemon, hints of coriander, delicate herbs and spices, with a subtle and creamy hint of sweet malt with a long, fresh and persistent finish.

Description
Founded in 1798, Tobermory is the only whiskey distillery on the Isle of Mull's and is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. It is located in the center of the lively island community in which it was born and from which it takes its name. Tobermory's past, however, is as colorful as it is with all waterfront towns. A history marked by closures and financial problems which, on more than one occasion, threatened its very existence. Yet, with creativity and dedication, Tobermory overcame her problems. After its most recent stoppage of production for necessary maintenance and refurbishment, Tobermory Distillery reopened in 2019 and restarted its stills once again. Under the name of Tobermory Distillery, the artisan Hebridean Distiller now produces Tobermory, Ledaig Single Malts and, for the first time in its history, Tobermory Gin. We wanted to include our wonderful Spirit of Tobermory, but getting the balance right was a challenge. After a lot of hard work and a little experimentation, we have found a balance where only the right sprinkling has created the best tasting gin. It possesses the perfect harmony between Tobermory's characteristic fruity and floral notes and the malt sensation that fills the palate like a freshly distilled whiskey spirit. We have found our 'botanist' # 1.
All botanicals are infused for a minimum of 24 hours in the basic spirit at 65 °. This is composed of 96% neutral grain spirit and 4% of the spirit that comes from the stills used for Tobermory whiskey.
Botanicals: Juniper, Hebridean Tea, Elderflower, Wild Heather, Coriander, Sweet Orange Peel, Lemon Zest, Oris Root, Angelica, Cassia, Thyme, Basil, Lemongrass.
