GIN CRUXLAND KALAHARI TRUFFLE LT.1 WITH CASE
An incredible and 100% African London dry. The uniqueness of this product is given by its botanicals, among which we find a very rare type of truffle that grows in the Kalahari desert. The gin also contains, in addition to the juniper berries, honeybush tea (the scientific name is Cyclopia and is a typical plant of South Africa), coriander, anise, cardamom, almonds, lemon and rooibos (Aspalathus linearis, another South African plant used to prepare the so-called African red tea). The base of the gin is 100% grape.

Description
A clear and fragrant liquid that is slightly tinted by the distinctive vegetables, Cruxland Gin boasts notes of fresh juniper and lemon, further enriched by coriander and spices with an earthy character from the Kalahari truffles.
Master distiller Pieter de Bod explained: “We wanted to create a special gin with botanicals typical of South Africa and we knew we needed a particular ingredient to balance the flavors of other botanicals. Kalahari truffles only grow in the desert after the first rains, so we had to wait for the right moment to get the necessary quantity. This truffle creates a particular crack in the cross-shaped soil when the mushroom grows after the rains (hence the name Cruxland Gin), but only an expert finder is able to identify where to dig exactly.
