Only three varieties of juniper berries, hand-picked in our three valleys, are masterfully distilled to extract all the nuances that each berry can offer. Hendrick's Neptunia Gin is a limited version that captures the magic of the sea in a gin. The creation of the Master Distiller, Ms. Lesley Gracie is as refreshing as her muse, the mighty waves lashing the Atlantic coast of Ayrshire. Infused with an exquisite blend of locally sourced coastal botanicals and with a striking, surprisingly smooth citrus finish. The nose has a resinous note of juniper, followed by intense floral and citrus touches. On the palate it is delicate, herbaceous and spicy, with a slight salinity in the background. Starting from the traditional Kapriol Dry Gin recipe, the best lemons and the best bergamot from southern Italy are selected, so that the characteristic flavor of these citrus fruits is combined with the balsamic notes of the juniper from the Dolomites.
